Vince La Marca
Jonathan and Stephanie, thank you for considering me for this role at Global X. I’d love to be a part of your team and help tell the stories behind the tickers to both investors and advisors. As you make your decision I want to provide some follow up information on my relevant work experience.
Telling stories with data
Pulling together research from Statistics Canada, The Conference Board of Canada, and Bank of Montreal, this Why Invest in Alberta infographic highlights all of the ways Alberta was booming in 2014. This piece was used to promote interest in the Alberta market ahead of launching real estate projects there.

Telling stories with data example 2: The Market Manuscript report
Working with the SVP, Market Research and Analytics, I oversaw the production of a biannual research report. I worked with my design team to highlight key statistics to help make the dense 60+ page report visually interesting and more compelling to read.

Telling stories with data example 3: Finfluencer presentation
I created this presentation using a research report by Research + Knowledge Insights. I analyzed the report with AI to uncover key themes and crafted the research findings into a compelling narrative for financial service influencers.

Video scripts
I wrote the script for this 2 ½ minute educational video on how long it takes to build a condominium apartment building in the GTA based on an SME interview with Brad Lamb a local developer who was featured in the video.
Pictured above is the script I wrote which was turned into storyboards by my creative agency which was turned into the video below by a professional animation house.
Infographics
Here are a couple of infographics I wrote for Red Hat.
The first targets developers, promoting desktop software that helps replicate a server environment locally.
This infographic targets IT decision makers and influencers, promoting a report that is based on survey findings. This is another good example of my ability to tell stories with data. Please scroll through to see what I mean.
Email nurture program
I wrote this series of emails as part of a nurture program targeting a list of IT people who were identified as having a deep interest in implementing and scaling AI who are ready to go deeper in their learning. This is just one example of several email nurture campaigns I wrote targeting a specific audience with a specific product or topic.

Thought Leadership
I wrote this brief on the transition to software defined vehicles in automotive manufacturing based on an interview with SME’s from Red Hat and Deloitte. The goal was to demonstrate how the partnership between these two companies offers compelling solutions that can help manufacturers transition away from traditional architectures.
